No, sorry. In System Preferences you can define a hotkey to launch Dictionary.app, but then you'd have to cut and paste into LyX. As Abdel indicated, thesaurus support will be improved in LyX-2.0. (However, Dictionary.app will still be more comprehensive and useful because it provides some help concerning the nuances in word meanings rather than just providing a list of "synonyms".) Bennett
