Also there appears to be a LyX ppa for ubuntu, but it appears to be out-of-date, and rather broken: https://launchpad.net/~lyx-developers/+archive/ppa Are there any plans to have an up-to-date PPA for Ubuntu? (this would seem much cleaner than trying to manually build packages for various versions of Ubuntu, and upload them to ftp.lyx.org). -- John C.
