Thanks Uwe. That seems to fix the problem with scrbook.layout, but if I create New>From Template and select docbook_article.lyx, it then fails to find docbook.layout, even though this again is present in the layouts directory.
I tried a Tools>Reconfigure again, but without success. Any thoughts?
