Some more details if this can help you helping me! I tried different exports: - Latex always works perfect (Alleluja!) - HTML works - HTML (Word) crashes LyX (And doesn't work): a bunch of seconds after "execute command htlatex..." the graphics of GUI disappear and the LyX instance can't be recovered. - text works - text ps2ascii works (but with loads of garbage) - I can remember that sometimes OOo conversion crashed - or gave errors - and didn't work (but as I can remember, it was prior to LyX 1.6.1) - As now it always "seems" to work but with the result described above in my previous message.
I can't remember more details on my experiments in LyX direct conversion, but I can execute some debugging if someone can direct me. (and I'm thinking about developers: this little bug could be very annoying for new and average users, so "feel free to use my body for your experiments!") Thanks! Piero
