Hi, I have followed the advice I have received on the list and initiated the Git repository from outside of LyX and committed the version 0 of all my Latex files that are grouped in a directory tree. The base directory of this tree now contains a .git folder and "git status" tells me that everything is ready in this repository (BTW, all Git binaries are on my path). I have then done a reconfigure under Lyx but the version control functions under the File menu seem to continue to try to execute RCS commands (mainly the ci command with parameters, I have never been able to go further since I get of course an error message after this command), and not the Git ones.
How can I tell to LyX that it should use Git instead? Must I reinstall Lyx of reconfigure should have been sufficient? Thank you in advance for your help, Murat
