I have much experience mixing stable and testing and unstable and experimental. Too much experience. I want a pure stable installation for the next year or so, so I can ignore system administration and do my own work, which is not computer-related. I've had good luck in the past installing stable Debian and having a year or two of peace and quiet. Testing and unstable are like cigarettes and alcohol. They seem harmless enough, but for people with addictive personalities, they lead to trouble! -- Lance Simmons
