can edit them, when I use my Ubuntu computer, I can use .fig files without any
problem. But whenever I tried to use the same files and same lyx document in my
vista comp I get the following error:

Files/Lyx/bin/../Resource"
I will appreciate your help.
I'm not sure, but I expect that whatever program LyX uses to convert fig
files into a form that LaTeX can use doesn't exist on your Windows
machine. Check under Tools>Preferences>Converters, and find out what
that is.
