I am trying to use the Float table available in Lyx, but when I insert a table, I do not get a dialog box that allows me to pick no of rows and columns. I plan to use a lot of tables in my dissertation, and although I know how to code them in the Tex language, I was hoping to use the easier to visualize approach described in the Lyx User Guides.
I also cannot right click on the tables to try and change the number of rows and columns. Any suggestions? Thanks, Laura
