Thank you again. So I will try to use biblatex, thank you for the link, this seems quite appropriate, because – as you wrote – its a Phd in musicology in fact.

I still can´t find the »above lyx« in the menu. I have a german Lyx, but it could be a similar name and I can´t find one. I also searched the different manuals for »layout«, but didn´t find what I´m looking for. I don´t know for which term to look in german.

I could find the /usr folder in the finder, but don´t know how to go on and I´m still not sure, if this is the right folder.

With what should I then create the »bblarticle.layout«-file – I can´t save such a file with Lyx or with textedit?

Is there maybe any other website, where this is described. I really don ´t get the point…

Best*
Jess

Yes. Having used jurabib for several years, I have switched to biblatex and it is better. Jurabib is also a dead project. If you are starting a long project (Ms or Phd or big article) go down the biblatex road, if you are on
a short deadline, keep jurabib.

By googling your example, you seem to be working in music history. Try
Dominik Wassenhoven's biblatex styles
(http://biblatex.dominik-wassenhoven.de/). They are done for the German
humanities style and I guess you can adapt it to your taste.

It is the last item of the Help Menu.
