We're actually uncertain as to whether 10.3.9 is supported. (We know 10.4 and 10.5 are.) You can try launching LyX from the Terminal (/Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app) by entering: /path/to/LyX.app/Contents/MacOS/lyx. Then when LyX crashes, report back on what error message gets spit out in the Terminal. Doing this may confirm for us that 10.3.9 is not supported. Bennett
