This is a bug then. This should only happen when installing for all users.
Little warning for other RC-testers: The application data folder is deleted/overwritten, even if you chose to keep it when un-installing RC3. So backup it before installation if you want not to lose you custom layout modules...
C:\Dokuments and Settings\<name>\Application Data\lyx16 is overwritten? I cannot reproduce this and this should not be the case. regards Uwe
