That is, in Terminal, type:

cd  ~/Library/Application\ Support/LyX-1.5/

to get to the user directory. Then type:

python /Applications/LyX.app/Contents/Resources/configure.py

to reconfigure. (Note that in this line there is no "/ui" before
"configure".)
