Hi! I recently installed Lyx on my Windows XP machine. I am able to open the *.lyx files, but not able to get a PDF output from them. The reason seems to be that as soon as I open the file (by double clicking on it), it says "the layout file requested by this document, *.layout, is not usable. This is probably because a LaTex class or style file required by it is not available."
I have tried reinstalling, and rebooting the machine to see if the problem is fixed magically, but it failed me :-). Please help. Best regards, RK
