I compiled a PPC version based on the 10.3.9 SDK. I do not have 10.3 anymore, so can you test please and report if it works? You can find it here: <http://www2.spsc.tugraz.at/people/hofbauer/lyx/LyXMac155_PPC_10_3_9.zip> !!! THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL RELEASE !!! This is the application bundle only, without Bennett's add-ons. Use the installer from the official LyX/Mac-1.5.5 release. Please report what works and what not. Regards, Konrad P.S. I presume you are on 10.3.9, right? If not, you probably need to update. There is no SDK for an earlier version.
