Question about the windows 1.6 alphas

If I install the Windows 1.6 alpha, will it interfere with my 1.5 
installation? In other words, if I install using the 1.6 installer 
rather than building from the source, can I run 1.5 and 1.6 in parallel 
as I did under Linux?
