thanks,
my XkbModel was set to pc105. I tried 102 but it had no effect.
Then I installed gucharmap but there is no way to get the symbol from 
ucharmap to lyx, copy and paste doesn't work (it didn't work with the l
inux-console, either.
Does anybody have any more suggestions?
