Hello, I am using the report class and when I preview my document with .dvi or export to .pdf several of my footnotes have an extra blank line right after the note number, then the text of the footnote, e.g.:
Here is some text.1 ___ 1 Smith (46) also says there is some text there. Whereas it should be: ___ 1 Smith (46) also says ... I would like to get rid of this extra blank line if possible, since it makes the note look quite ugly. Best, -- John A. Lorenc
