Tools->Preferences->Look and feel->User interface. Uncheck to backup documents. Alternatively, you could change the backup path so you just don't see the backup file (this way you still have a backup, just in case :-}), Tools->Preferences->Paths. Then specify any location you would like to save the backup to. Cheers, /Bob
