I just noticed something that I wondered might be a bug. When I have a eps image that is scaled and clipped in lyx, and the document is using the article class, pdflatex does not format the image correctly. It is as if the article class is conflicting with the clipping. The image is not off a side of the page but underlapping text in the page. To resolve it have resorted to export the lyx file via dvipdfm which creates a pdf exactly like the dvi. Is this a know bug? Thanks PDF
