Hotkeys

Hello.

Is there a possibility to create in LyX hotkeys (keyboard shortcuts) for
specific math characters, e.g.:
ctrl-(  =>  imitate the action of the () button on the math bar
ctrl-shift-p  =>  \pi
etc.
