Whoops -- I just noticed you wanted the kind of thing with a graphic in the margin. I'm pretty sure that's doable in a similar way to what I did, but you'll need a character style, command environemnt or ert to tell it what graphic you want. If you're just hardcoding NOTE, WARNING, TIP and the like, it can all be done from a single environment.
