In the preamble of the template, uncomment the line "fromlogo=true", then insert a paragraph style "logo" after sender name and insert an image via Insert->Graphics (as usual).
Jürgen: I modified the template, but I don't have the sender name/address because that's part of the graphic logo. Looking at the template in LyX, I see there's no logo environment/style. Does the placement in my letter matter? BTW, I have the letterhead as an .eps file; it's not as clear displaying on the screen as the PDF was, but that should clear up when it's displayed in the complied document.
Preamble \makeatletter [EMAIL PROTECTED] \makeatother but I wouldn't change this, since it should fit the address window of the envelope.
Thank you. I don't use window envelopes for letters; only for account payable checks, and those are printed from within SQL-Ledger.
just adjust the left margin (in document->settings->margins). However, I wouldn't do that either. Else your customers are going to punch into the text.
Moving the address to the right fixed the alignment.
Preamble: \renewcommand*{\raggedsignature}{}
