I saw this problem the other day. Find/Replace was working, and then all
of a sudden it stopped. I didn't investigate at the time, but shutting
down and restarting solved the problem. I wonder if the dialog was
somehow tied to the wrong document? I.e., if I had two docs open, and
the dialog was actually searching the wrong one.
