Where did you get the binaries for Lyx 1.5.2 for Ubuntu from? Are there
any available on the Web? - Or did you compile it on your own?

the theorem numbering.
Then I installed back LyX 1.5.1 and everything was compiled correctly.
I just wanted to remark this strange behaviour.
