Dear all

Most European people prefer san-serif font in business documents. I find
it difficult to set document default font to a san-serif font.

If I follow the "User's Guide", go to "Document" -> "Setting", and
change font to "helvet", and "Save", and view the output in postscript
(Ctrl+t), the document is the same (still use a san-serif font). Then I
go to "Document" -> "Setting" to check again, and discovered font
setting is still "default". It was as if the setting I made was ignored.

If I open the lyx document with text editor, replace "\fontscheme
default" with "\fontscheme helvet", save the lyx file, open it with lyx,
check postscript output, then the same, still serif font.

I am using Ubuntu 7.04/ppc, what can I do to change default document
font to a san-serif font?

Thanks and
Best regards
