This was the old hard-coded path that doesn't work anymore.
To get it working and to have the latest aspell version, I suggest to
- uninstall LyX 1.5
- uninstall all aspell dictionaries
- uninstall aspell
- reinstall LyX 1.5
(When you use the LyXWinInstaller to install LyX, aspell dictionaries for English, the chosen LyX
menu language, and the Windows system language will automaticall installed. The installer asks you
if you want to install more.)
In the preferences > language settings > spellchecker the
spellchecker executable shows a greyed out "aspell (library)".
You can ignore this setting because on Windows, only aspell works, no matter
what is selected there.
