Using Lyx 1.4.4 [14/02/2007] with Debian testing.

Using article [koma script]. Can someone please point me to the preamble or
ert which will allow me to have a header on the first page but not the second
or subsequent pages?

\afterpage{\thispagestyle{plain}}

This works in a fashion, but leaves the header space on the second page
intact, though empty.

Is it possible to remove the larger header space on the second page?

Thanks in advance.
