Certes! But this do not solve my current problem. I found, following Charles de Miramon's mail, a /usr/share/lyx/kbd/francais.kmap with this line in: \kmod ^ circumflex aeiouAEIOU # circumflex on ^ But this seems to not work... Or I did not find where to select the keyboard "francais". BTW I went to the manuals and see some unreadable passages in them: La syntaxe des fichiers *here some cabalistic signs* est simple : *a lot of same cabalistic signs* À la fois *a lot of same cabalistic signs* combinaison de touches et fonction-lyx (avec tous ses paramètres) doivent être entourés par des guillemets doubles. Toutes les fonctions LyX sont répertoriées dans le ManueldeRéférence. Don't know what to think. I tried to use "à la TeX" accents, but when I want to use the key "\" I get a mathematical union sign and lot of the same cabalistic signs when I enter the name the command. - -- François Patte UFR de mathématiques et informatique Université Paris Descartes Tél. +33 (0)1 44 55 35 61 http://www.math-info.univ-paris5.fr/~patte -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFG98ERdE6C2dhV2JURAk6yAJwPgq1rSXW1ReUlEX6Fn/pGczBdRwCdG9c5 ri281hyrwifPyi8x7HZP774= =YqFb -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
