hello,

this is more of a bibtex and natbib question, but i thought that some people on the list may have come across this problem when creating a CV. i'm using the article class to create a CV and i'd like to use bibTeX with the natbib style for my publication list. a typical CV will list publications in chronological order, but the numbering is in reverse so that a reviewer can quickly count how many publications one has.

2. etc

the standard citation output, however, appears in the order of a citation sty, which for natbib is the order that they appear in a document.

1. kidd et al., 2007
2. kidd et al., 2006
3. etc

is there a simple way to reverse the citation order within the natbib style or bibTeX framework so that it follows a reverse chronological order that is typical for a CV? i still want to take advantage of using citations so that the formating is correct and the insertion of new publications is trivial?

thanks,
-brian
