only partially covered with the document's text. Now I go to the second
document, and make it cover the whole screen. Done this, I close the
document clicking on the on the cross on the right-top corner. LyX
highlights the tab of the first document and shows its content mixed
with the content of the just closed document. It is, the screen has not
been refreshed.
Can anyone confirm this behavior?

I cannot. I followed the instructions above, but all tabs refreshed
properly. I'm also on LyX 1.5.1-1, Win XP.
