Dear Sirs, I recently installed the new LyX 1.5 and it works perfectly – with one exception.
Every time I create a new document, say example.lyx, a file example.lyx~ is made. I suppose this is some kind of temporary file. Files like these were created in LyX 1.4.x as well, but then they were automatically deleted when LyX was shut down. Now, however, this does not happen. The *.lyx~ files remain for ever, it seems. What have I done wrong that makes this happen? Yours sincerely, Albert Pettersson
