I thought the 'X' was a 'Chi', not a 'psi'.
I understand that the "chi" is used in LaTeX, I was referencing the
theme of using a greek letter, in this case I thought "psi" for
"sciences," would be appropriate.
Anyway, if I understand you correctly, you suggest the page name
LyX for the sciences
i.e. http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/LyxForTheSciences
I like the name, what do others think? Any variations that are
better?

but you are correct in any case about the second part I think that
Lyx for the Sciences would be a good choice, its clear and doesn't
exclude humanities.
