I have recently installed Lyx from the Fedora 7 repository, to be exact it is lyx-1.5.0-0.9.rc2.fc7. All of the screen fonts seem to be missing, since everything on the screen appears in the 12-point Fixed font, and running Lyx with debug produces the following errors:
$ lyx -dbg 512 Setting debug level to 512 Debugging `font' (Font handling) Font 'Roman, Medium, Upright, Normal, none, Emphasis Off, Underline Off, Noun Off, Language: English' matched by Serif This font is NOT an exact match XFLD: Multi The font has size: 12 Font 'Roman, Medium, Upright, Normal, none, Emphasis On, Underline Off, Noun Off, Language: English' matched by Serif This font is NOT an exact match XFLD: Multi The font has size: 12 Font 'Roman, Bold, Upright, Normal, red, Emphasis On, Underline Off, Noun Off, Language: English' matched by Serif This font is NOT an exact match <...etc...> Can anyone tell me what screen fonts Lyx requires and how to get them? The *best* answer would be the names of Fedora 7 font packages. Thanks - jon
