I have successfully compilied lyx on kubuntu-feisty, using scons. The executable is rather big (about 7-8 MB), while the home compiled 1.4.4 is only 4-5 MB. How to obtain a smaller executable?
Moreover, i would like lyx-sessions to be preserved across kdm sessions. Any hints to get such result? thank you -- Pol
