To do this, you need to define a LyX layout. These are covered in
chapter 5 of the Customization manual. This is not a simple task, though
if you are lucky your style file is based upon (say) book.cls, and the
changes are minimal. There are a lot of people here who have had
experience doing this, though, and we're a helpful bunch.
