LyX and Maxima

Hello,

I found this link

download the instruction about making Maxima work under LyX.

I have tried to apply the commands "Edit"->"Mathematics"->"Use Computer 
Algebra System"->"Maxima" but it does not work.
If I write "2+2" and I use the command sequence above, LyX give me the 
formula "2+2=" followed by an empty space.

Does anyone know how to use Maxima in LyX?
(I have installed Maxima 5.11.0)
