I am running lyx on windows XP. When I try to fill in the preamble lyx crashes every time. I can click on the text box but when I start typing lyx crashes. I want to use the preamble option (described here:http://wiki.lyx.org/FAQ/PDF#toc3). The error lyx gives says only "disabling socket".
Is there a way I can use the preamble? Thanks!
