Could anyone kindly help me by:

1. Pointing to a useful online tutorial for getting graphics into Lyx
(for a book).
2. Tell me how I knock off the 'figure number' below graphics inserted?

Currently, I am using Lyx 1.4.3 (a relative newbie), trying to build a
book (monocolour, with black-and-white line illustrations). To get the
images in, I'm using

Insert > Float > Text Wrap Float

My settings are Width: 80 Units: line% Placement: Default (outer)

Do I "clip to bounding box"? How do I reduce the "gutter" between the
image and the text? If I want to place a caption to the picture, it
seems to be coming a bit awkwardly and clashing with the pic. Is there
some way of controlling its positioning? Many thanks! FN
