Hello, I am having a little problem using the appendix package in an extbook document. What I want to do is to have an Appendix heading appear in the TOC, with no page number, just before the first Appendix.
I have these lines just before the first appendix like it says in the appendix package documentation. \appendix \addappheadtotoc \noappendicestocpagenum The result is that there is an Appendix heading, however a) there is a page number to it b) the page number is wrong, as it corresponds to the page number of the previous chapter*, in this case the Acknowledgements. It seems like the command \noappendicestocpagenum has no effect for some reason. Does anybody know why and how I can go around this? Thanks in advance.
