I have LyX 1.3.7 installed on an XP platform. The problem is that I cannot figure out how to get LyX to export LaTeX in a custom way. What I really need is for LyX to work from one directory and output to another. The custom export was my approach to resolve this. Does anyone have an alternative way to solve this or advice as to how to get LyX to write LaTeX files into a directory different from where the .lyx files reside? TIA.
BTW, I searched for many combinations of the keywords "custom" and "export" and found nothing that worked. This could be because I used invalid syntax or whatever. So if you have a suggestion like write something to my preferences, please let me know exactly what to write, because I have tried to no avail. Sincerely, -Jaime
