There is a screen about dvips in the preferences.
Maybe it's located here.

Could be the .dvipsrc which has been changed, or the latex installation
itself, in texmf-var/dvips/config ?

A lot of places where you can look...

I remember having this after a texlive upgrade, the texmf trail may be
the good one :-)
