Your Debian tex distribution must include htlatex, otherwise you will have to download it alone and plug it in. etch/testing includes both tetex and texlive modules, texlive includes htlatex (don't know for tetex). htlatex has got options to export to OO (thus .doc) which will make View/Export to OO available from reconfigure in 1.4 versions (if not you must edit Formats/Converters in Preferences). As for .rtf, you must install e.g. latex2rtf (1.13 with woody, 1.16 after). -- Jean-Pierre
