Strange: I have copied a part of my document and tried the \usepackage{hyperref} in the preamble and it worked alright. Afterward I used the whole copied document. \usepackage{hyperref} worked now too, however the table of contents in the dvi output prints over the right column (note that I use twocolumn pages). Same with the pdf output file. A diff a.lyx copied-a.lyx shows no difference! ?? I am confused. Wolfgang
