Hey All, I have recently installed LyX for Mac OS X and cocoAspell. I am not able to get aspell to work correctly. At first I got an error message saying the specified dictionary could not be found. I addressed this by pasting the path to the dictionary in the "Alternative language" field in spelling preferences. I longer get an error message when checking for incorrect spelling.
However, when I click the button to start the spell checker a window pops up and disappears, followed by a dialogue box telling me that the spell check is complete. None of the spelling errors are identified. Furthermore, I can only activate the spell checker when the text bar is at the very start of the document. I am new to this, and any advice would be appreciated. Cheers, Tristan.
