It is weird -- I tried to find out what is the status of support of de_CH in LaTeX, but it seems to be pretty nonexistent (be aware, that I don't speak German at all, so I know nearly nothing about this subtleties). Neither in $TEXMF/tex/generic/babel/ nor in /usr/share/lyx/languages I found anything mentioned about swiss. The best language seems to me to be NGerman, but why aspell makes troubles I don't know -- /usr/share/lyx/languages clearly indicates that the language should be de_DE and if you have correctly installed aspell-de than its dictionary should be present. What do you get when running ls /usr/lib/aspell/swiss* /usr/lib/aspell/de* ?
