Hello Paul,
In the haste yesterday I forgot to translate the last line from Italian.
It says:
An error did happen while python "C:/Program Files
(x86)/LyX14/Resources/scr was executing
By the way this is the same text LyX prints on the error dialogue. I've
reproduced the bug right now and
the latex log and there's no error there (it says it wrote the output to
tesi.dvi).
Anyway after you pointed it out, I noticed that sometimes LyX doesn't
produce any output - a behaviour I got used to - and that
the reason for this behaviour is nearly the same. In fact in the latex
log it says:

! I can't write on file `tesi.dvi'.
Please type another file name for output
! Emergency stop.

Note that this is a different kind of error (e.g. LyX prompts me with
the error and stops without executing clean_dvi), but maybe the two
share the same cause.

Should I move everything (tesi.lyx, tesi.dvi and so on) to a directory
whose path doesn't contain any space or blank character?

Thanks for support
