Joost build the installer by using the third party program files I ship
with my installer. So both local Python versions are equal. I tested the
local Python installation extensively and the bug report of the wrong
encoding in the python scripts came not from me or a Win-user. Bo
recovered it and fixed it immediately in LyX 1.4.3CVS.
You tell that the original script with the encoding
coding: iso-8859-15
runs fine on an installed Python 2.4.3. I'll test this, it seems that
the local installation misses some files then.
