But I was never able to enter the €-sign directly also not in XForms of
the 1.3.x series.
Notice the attached lyx file it has the euro sign, but the only way to see
it in lyx is to change the font encoding to iso8859-15 (latin9) and that can
only be done in lyx-xforms.
I can change the encoding to latin 9 in LyX-Qt but this doesn't help.
