Hi,

I am writing up some code snippets where the output and some of the snippets (and variable names) need to go inline in a fixed width font (as opposed to a new paragraph styled with Lyx-code). I can find commands to make text bold and emphasised, but not this. Is it possible?

This is Lyx 1.3.7 on Windows.

Thanks,
Peter

Highlight the text and click Layout->Character, select Typewriter in the Family list, and click Ok. You may also want to check the Toggle all box. Thereafter, clicking the Font tool bar button will switch text to monospaced (or, if already monospaced and the toggle option was selected, switch it back to the document's default font).
