Thank you Stephen for your help. I did what you suggested and I put
Minsys ahead of Cygwin in windows Path. However the problem always
existed. I read that one can solve the problem if one makes "Sh
configure" in the Resources folder of LyX and now it goes well :-)
I used to have to run "sh configure" all the time and mildly
complained about it. This last LyX release, Angus thought
he had fixed it. And it was fixed for me. So I thought it was
fixed for everybody and didn't mention it.
I made too big of an assumption.
